The following message is from our youth pastor, James Hollis which he wrote for our newsletter "The Herald" for April.Greetings Church Family, April is going to be a busy month for me as I travel to Alabama to teach a youth conference at my brother’s church and then as I continue on to Louisville, Kentucky for a conference on preaching. Please pray for Cindy, Jeremiah, and me as we are on the road and in the air. There are a lot of things coming up as well. We are preparing to go on our first youth trip at the end of May. We will be going to Skycroft Retreat center in Maryland for a weekend retreat. There will be ten to eleven youth going and about 9 adults. John Sickles, a youth from my last youth group who is now in college, will be coming to lead the youth through a study on trusting God. I will be leading the parents through a study on marriage, family, and the Bible. I am excited about what is going to be happening during this time as we enjoy games, prayer, fellowship, and Bible study for a whole weekend. We will be selling fragrance candles in order to raise some money to lower the cost of the retreat. If you are interested please contact a youth or myself and place your order!
